Town Meeting and Election Dates

Annual Town Meeting, Tuesday, May 20th at 7:00 p.m.

Annual Town Election, Tuesday, May 27th from 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Both events are held at Otis Town Hall in the gym.

Town Meeting

The official warrant articles that will be voted on at the Town Meeting will be available for pick up by May 13th at the Town Clerk’s Office Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. or on the town news section of our website www.townofotisma.com. The warrant will also be available at the Town Meeting. Just a reminder we will be using clickers to vote at the Town Meeting. We used the clickers at the March Special Town Meeting and they worked great. We received good feedback. If you have any questions about the clickers please reach out and I can answer them.

Town Election

You can view a specimen of what is on the local election ballot on our website or in Town Hall.

Absentee or Vote by Mail ballots will be available for this election. The deadline to apply for a mailed Absentee or Vote by Mail ballot is 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19th, and the deadline to apply for Absentee ballot voting in-person is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 23rd. The Town Clerk will be open from 3 - 5 p.m. on Friday, May 23rd.

The voter registration deadline for the Town Meeting and the Town Election is Saturday, May 10th from 9 - 11 a.m. and 3 - 5 p.m. at the Otis Town Hall.
