June is typically known as Gemini’s month since the Sun cycles through this communicative sign; however, three key planets cycling through Nurturing Cancer offer a soft place to land. These draw our focus, how we relate and communicate, to family and home during the first half of the month.
Cancer energy now is ideal if you have home projects underway, family celebrations, growing or preparing food, welcoming new members of the family, or alternatively, saying goodbye to loved ones. Often, people with strong Cancer placements are the wise ones, the family guide relied upon to manage family affairs.
During the first two weeks of June, our intuition is very sharp indeed. Your gut instincts are precise and accurate. The trio of planets in Cancer has us notably influenced by others; we pick up their energy like flies to glue. It is important to set boundaries with those who take advantage. The question now is do we go along and get along as always or instead, stand up for ourselves and prioritize our own needs?
It is OK to say NO and allow others to pitch in and contribute. You can always decide if, when and how to show up. If someone tries to convince you that your feelings are not real or valid, stand firm in your position.
This is a primary lesson of 2026: to put your own proverbial oxygen mask on before assisting someone else. Self-care is not selfish because an empty pitcher cannot refill a glass.
Through June 12th, the planetary energy is calm. The cosmos begins to stir on June 13th when Valuable Venus gets the party started by moving into Leo. Venus shines in this creative and playful sign. Romance and festivities blossom now.
The New Moon on June 15th in Communicative Gemini offers a ripe opportunity to set clear intentions for the next month or season. Hand write three to five intentions, then plant in the warm late spring soil or carefully ignite.
Your goals take root during the Summer Solstice when the Sun shifts into Cancer the Crab on June 21st, marking the longest day. Our intuition is on point and practical at the same time. Feel the inspiration to take action on what is right and true for you. Be careful not to allow others to persuade you otherwise.

A few cautions here:
Watch for sharp exchanges of words. This is especially true as Messenger Mercury turns retrograde on June 29th. Uncontrolled language is difficult to erase hurt feelings, which have staying power. So hit the pause button before speaking out of turn. Remember to think before you speak.
Our thoughts turn inward now–a perfect time for research and development, summer vacations and a total change of pace.
