No ordinary time now. We know this instinctively, but the cosmos confirms it. August’s calm energy gives way to planets shifting into overdrive this month.
In the beginning, Messenger Mercury enters practical Virgo on September 2nd. Create or rely on work and wellness practices to manage your expectations and keep a firm grip on your inner control freak. The Yiddish phrase: we plan, God laughs will come in very handy during September.
When something does not work out or is not happening as fast as you would like it to, remember that the Universe does not say no; it says, not now or there is something better in store for you.
As the waxing moon builds toward the Full Moon lunar eclipse, there is a particular feeling that something’s gotta give. Enter Radical Uranus. The change agent planet turns retrograde just two days before the eclipse on September 7th. Shock and surprise are its calling card. The cosmic coordinates unleash a tsunami of revealing information now. If you have nothing to hide, then you have nothing to worry about.
Adding to the churning cosmic waves, Taskmaster Saturn entirely washes away what is not meant for us over the long-term. Watch for BIG emotions, immense earth and water activity, fear, strong intuition, faith and beliefs, significant dreams, health and work practices, film and imagery, music and spiritual callings.
In the wake of the eclipse, notice a profound calm, perhaps a stunned silence. Between September 7th and 21st, you may feel ungrounded, or that time is surreal. Humanity is indeed shifting from mind to heart-centered. We’re not dispensing with the mind and its gifts; but rather putting them to work as instruments to be used by our soul’s intuition, rather than the other way around.
Drink plenty of purified water, walk in nature, and practice generous self-care to stay grounded.
Just after mid-month all four interior planets change signs, one right after the other. On September 18th, Messenger Mercury enters Libra. Our thoughts and words are extremely powerful now. What you think, you become. The next day, Valuable Venus turns into practical Virgo. Grounded and humble in this sign, Venus streamlines our relationships to suit our future needs.
Enter the final eclipse of 2025: the New Moon solar eclipse on September 21st. The Sun and Moon will sideline what does not serve our best interests, purifying us of anything unhealthy whether body, mind, or soul. This is the perfect time to set your intentions for the next month, season or year. Handwrite 3 to 5 intentions to manifest and then plant safely in the softening earth; just in time for Fall Equinox
September 22nd marks the Equinox as the Sun enters Libra. How can you bring your life into greater balance? What makes you feel beautiful and peaceful? On the very same day, Mars enters transformational Scorpio. Our intuition and spidey senses tingle. Trust yours as it is 100% correct.
What the New Moon eclipse in Virgo purified and cleansed, Mars now regenerates into fuel for what is yet to come. Through the end of September, Mars prods us to transform aspects of ourselves through non-mainstream and alternative modalities. Some may ignore the call and bury their heads in the sand. Instead of stubbornness or distrust, this catalytic duo invites us to look at what we are resisting or refusing to see.
During this Libra season, we are invited to align ourselves with others through compromise and negotiation.
