November 2026
State Election, Tuesday, November 3, 2026
Polling Location: Otis Town Hall, 1 North Main Rd, Otis, MA 01253
Polls Open: 7 am to 8 pm
Know before you vote!
There are nine ballot questions on this November ballot. Please know how you will be voting before arriving.
Be prepared by reading the red Information to Voters booklet provided by the State of Massachusetts. This booklet was mailed to every household in September. Additional copies can be picked up in the Town Clerk’s office. You can also visit our website townofotisma.com and find a digital link under election information on the home page.
A voter checklist is located in the back of the Information to Voters booklet. This checklist is very helpful to complete and bring to the polls to assist you in marking your ballot.
The ballot is multiple pages! Due to the nine questions, there are two ballot cards. The first card has a front and back side with candidates and questions 1-7. The second card has Questions 8 and 9. Make sure you return both ballot cards no matter which method you choose. (Vote by Mail, In-Person Early Voting, or at the Polls.)
Please note: Election workers cannot advise you on any of the candidates or ballot questions during early voting or on election day. Bring reading glasses if you need them. You can bring notes strictly for yourself to assist you with the ballot.
The post office suggests all mailed ballots to have been mailed by October 27th. Mailed ballots will be accepted until 5 pm on November 6, as long as they are postmarked by November 3rd.
Mailed ballots can be tracked at trackmyballotma.com. If you have trouble locating your address, use the 01253 zip code. Don’t risk your ballot being late; drop it off in the drop box at Town Hall, if you can.
Election results will be posted as unofficial until all ballot deadlines have been completed. There is a ballot deadline for receiving late mailed ballots and for Federal Write-In Absentee Ballots. Official results will be posted online as soon as these deadlines have passed. All additional counting after these deadlines will be posted on the Town of Otis website and in the Town Clerk’s office.
If you have any questions, please reach out to the office at (413) 269-0100 ext 112 or email to: clerk@townofotisma.com.
