Otis Community Day, A Celebration of US
By Margie Klein and Susan Ebitz
May 2026
The town of Otis was incorporated on June 13, 1810. In honor of this date, along with the ongoing observance of the 250th anniversary of the United States you are invited to join us on June 13th for Otis Community Day, celebrating 216 years of US! The last time the community celebrated was in 2010, the 200th anniversary of the town’s incorporation but through the years, there have been many gatherings and occasions to celebrate.
The Otis Cultural Council, Otis Ridge, and Town of Otis Revitalization Committee invite townspeople as well as members of other communities to celebrate "Otis is the place to be" from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Otis Ridge.
The event will showcase our local businesses, food vendors, artisans, town organizations and committees. There will be many activities for children and adults. In addition, there will be three bands playing separate sets with special appearances from local musicians. Live music will be featured all day!
Bring your friends, family, chairs, and blankets. Admission is FREE! So, please save the date, and plan to celebrate our community.
