AMVETS Memorial Celebration

Please join us on Sunday May 25th at noon for the annual Memorial Day remembrance ceremony.

This year we will gather at the flagpole at the main Cemetery next to Otis Ridge. Walking around the cemetery and reading gravestones will give you a sense of the many veterans in Otis who have proudly served our country. A small ceremony with wreath placement, some short remarks, taps and three volleys of gunshots will mark our way of paying tribute to the many soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Please join us in honoring the memory of all fallen soldiers across our country by attending this ceremony or observing a moment of silence wherever you are to honor these heroes. Take time to reflect about the men and women who died serving in the armed forces and be sure to honor any veterans you personally know. Our thanks go out to all of you.
