May links us to planting season and Taurus, the first earth sign of the Zodiac; yet it is the dominance of planets in fire signs, especially Aries, that drive us forward now. Aries leaps into action. And on May 1st Valuable Venus boldly enters Aries, straight out of the gate. Here, Venus energizes us to get on with life, and quickly.
Our initiative, spark and spunk, is bursting at the seams. Feel the power surge. Headstrong and brazen, you may not listen to others who try to reason. Remember though, all ideas may not be great ideas now.
So how do we direct this bonfire of raw vitality? Pacing, pacing is critical now. It is essential not to burn yourself out by taking on more than you can reasonably manage. The last thing you want to do is drop the ball. So be selective. Honor your commitments. Ask for help, assign tasks to a schedule, delegate.
The great news is anything you already have brewing will take off now. The first week of May is a time to sprint. There’s really nothing to slow us down until Messenger Mercury challenges Pluto in Aquarius the second weekend of May.
Use this aspect to consider your options, especially under the light of the Full Moon on Monday, May 12th. In Scorpio, feel your intuitive senses tingle with accuracy. Trust yourself now, and do not dismiss what your gut tells you.
With the Sun conjoined to change agent Uranus from May 10th to 13th seize the day! This is the time to launch any collaborations and projects, or make major announcements. Take advantage of this strong energy to garner attention.
May 17th and 18th watch for people digging their heels in, throwing roadblocks in your path or simply nonresponsive. There can be real attitudes of this is mine, that is yours, and refusing to budge an inch. Fortunately this impasse dissolves rather quickly and by May 21st, when the Sun enters flexible Gemini aligning to Powerful Pluto. Overnight it seems we can move mountains. People are receptive to our ideas and want to hear more.
Late on Saturday, May 24th, Taskmaster Saturn enters Aries joining inspirational Neptune at a catalytic degree. Where Neptune dreams, Saturn builds. In trail blazing Aries, this dynamic pair is an unstoppable force. Together, they refuse to take “no” for an answer. They see no reason to adhere to traditions just because something “has always been done that way.”
Saturn and Neptune will travel together in Aries until the end of August. Bold and brash, they fearlessly try anything new simply for the experience. What is the worst that can happen? Leap and the net will appear. Time to forge new paths, work with new people, experiment with new ideas and methods and more. Just make sure you keep an end goal in sight. Use this dynamic influence for good.
We make our way toward the New Moon very late on Monday, May 26th. In communicative Gemini the Sun, Moon and Mercury will sign, seal and deliver your deepest desires. So take the cosmic cue to set your intentions. Carefully hand write three to five goals or wishes you seek to manifest over the coming weeks and months. Then bury them in the softening earth or set safely alight.
The heavy winter months are behind us. The long slog is over and done. Point yourself toward the future and watch the road open in front of your eyes. You can fairly hear the theme song “Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now …” We are on our way.
