With Mercury retrograde over and done as December begins, it is a great time to take advantage of holiday sales including bigger splurges such as travel, electronics, cars, appliances or signing significant documents.
Valuable Venus joins Mars and the Sun in Sagittarius on December 1st, liberating us from the heaviness of the past few months. Sagittarius rules the law, as well as education, travel and spirituality. 2025 has not been an easy year. Yet even though it is increasingly dark outside, there is a palpably lighter energy during the first week of December.
The final Full Moon of 2025 occurs on December 4th. In communicative Gemini, this Full Moon is mentally restless. You may notice extra anxiety in yourself or others leading up to the fourth. Careful not to overthink things and be sure to choose your words with kindness. No matter how some may try to twist their story or evade inevitable outcomes, this Full Moon planetary pattern tells it like it is.
In short: the truth prevails, lessons are learned and justice is served. Take special note of legal and court rulings during the Full Moon stretch that extends through mid-December. These will be whoppers. A different kind of due process is served up now, a karmic due process ruled by cosmic law.
Meanwhile, four planets are cycling through emotional water signs purifying any irrelevant facets of our lives, either people or situations. This extended rinse cycle picks up speed when Neptune turns direct motion on December 9th. In Pisces, Neptune emphatically purges what we are not bringing into our future. The more you cling to someone or something not intended to remain part of your life, the more Neptune dissolves it out of your grasp. Best to surrender to its flow rather than fight against the current.
In doing so you will find freedom, especially as Messenger Mercury enters Sagittarius on December 12th. Where our actions and interests have been seeking expansion and growth, our minds now follow. Book travel, sign up for a class, or step beyond your usual comfort zone and broaden your horizons. Sagittarius loves exploration and adventure. Go for it!
A few days later, Mars enters Capricorn on December 15th. In this goal-oriented sign, Mars accomplishes your task list like no other. Capricorn Mars also sets definitive limits and boundaries. If you need to say NO to someone or something, this is your pairing.
The final New Moon of 2025 occurs on December 19th. In Sagittarius, both Sun and Moon, beckon us to live our own personal truth and walk our unique path regardless of what anyone else says. Hand write three to five intentions or goals you seek to manifest over the coming month, season or year. Set these safely alight then watch your goals take form.
The Sun enters Capricorn on December 21st, marking the Winter Solstice and the shortest day of the year. It only gets lighter from here. Christmas Eve finds Valuable Venus joining Mars and the Sun in self-reliant Capricorn, offering reliable and sturdy energy. Their combination prompts us to define and build what we seek to create for the long-term, that which stands the test of time. In such deeply unsettled times, these planets extend solid and capable help. Capricorn separates the wheat from the chaff, the men from the boys, and the essential from the noise. Like a road map delineating our destination, the hazards as well as the points of interest along the way, the Capricorn planetary trio shows in stark contrast our choices ahead. Choose wisely.
