Otis Creatives

March 2026

Luismy Photography is led by Havana-born Luis Miguel Milian Echarte, whose work centers on portraiture and street photography. Luis’s images explore the poetry of everyday life via candid, unposed moments that reveal the character and rhythm of both rural and urban America. His lens studies people and their environments, finding human stories in ordinary spaces and the sense of place that defines them.

Bethany Ferraro who has had a family home in Otis for over 30 years, shared these photos with the Otis Observer, saying, “Over the holidays, my partner [Luis Miguel] captured a beautiful series of photographs in Otis and Great Barrington. I’m sharing some of his photographs in case you’re looking to feature inspiring work from local artists in your publication. Luis Miguel has been visiting Otis since 2023, but this was his first winter in Otis."
