Trunk or Treat

One evening a year in the Otis Ridge lot

People go all out with everything they’ve got

Cars and trucks are decorated and filled with treats

Lights are shining and torches provide the heat.

Creativity and fun abounds

People are smiling while they make their rounds

From trunk to trunk they enjoy the displays

The candy collected will last for days.

You don’t have to be a kid to enjoy this night

You can come in a costume from tame to a real fright

The atmosphere is lit up with frivolity and fun

Young and old equally enjoy the evening till done.

For planning and sponsoring this night of laughs

Trunk or Treat is an Otis tradition by now

Enjoyed by Minions and mad hatters, even a shark

and a cow.

You have until next year to plan your costumes and treats

This safe and enjoyable community event cannot be beat

So put on your thinking caps for ways to entertain and delight

Come to see it with your family, friends, ghosts and creatures from the night!
