The Otis Observer is more than just a publication — it’s the heart of our town. Every month, the Otis Observer brings Otis, Massachusetts to life with stories of our neighbors, updates on local events, insights into town history, and even an astrology column written by a local astrologist! Because the publication is dedicated exclusively to Otis, we are passionate about ensuring its accessibility to everyone in our community.

You can find pick up a free printed copy of the Otis Observer each month at the locations listed on our homepage. Additionally, digital subscriptions are completely free and we invite everyone to sign up for one using the form on this page. While we encourage you to choose digital if you’re able to help us manage costs, we know that some residents prefer a printed copy, especially those who may not have easy access to a computer or aren’t able to get around town easily.

If you would like to have a printed copy mailed to you each month and are able to donate, we request a minimum donation of $15 per year to cover postage and production. No donation is required to receive a printed subscription in the mail, but any amount you give goes a long way to ensure that Otis has a reliable source of local news, stories, and events.

Otis Observer, staffed by volunteers and funded by individuals and businesses, is published 11 times a year with a combined January-February issue. Donations are needed to continue publication and are tax-deductible as this newspaper has 501(c)(3) status.
